Cheers to the freakin’ weekend, country fans!

Can you believe it’s already Friday? It feels like yesterday we witnessed Mickey Guyton create history at the 2021 Grammy Awards and watched Maren Morris SLAY her duet to “The Bones” with heartthrob John Mayer on Sunday, March 14. Now, the leading names who performed at this year’s Grammys proved that the best musicians come out of Nashville, but they also represented a community of storytellers who grind for what they want in order to reach success in a highly competitive industry.

Celeb Secrets is changing up New Music Friday this week, as we are featuring some of the hottest rising stars in the country music scene, who are determined to put their name on the map.

Scoring high placement on our new music roundup, is Tennessee native, Drew Green with his upbeat track “Hooch.” The budding artist penned the recent release alongside Jordan Minton and Mark Trussell. Green’s new hit is not your traditional hoedown throwdown tune, as it showcases his deep country sound with a twist of modern musical elements that leaves us with no other choice than to have “Hooch” playing on repeat.

Up next we have three trailblazing ladies who are making 2021 their year. Danica Hart, Trea Swindle, and Devynn Hart – also known as the Chapel Hart trio is conquering music city with their soulful and powerful country sound. The family trio has recently earned a spot in CMT’s Next Women of Country Class beside other newcomers, but what captured our attention is their mind-blowing harmonies in the new single “You Can Have Him Jolene.” The group pulled inspiration from the 1973 Dolly Parton classic “Jolene” and made it their own.
