Raise a shot of tequila if you miss live music! 🥃
Well, country superstar Miranda Lambert just dropped her new music video for the fan-favorite track “Tequila Does,” on January 26, and it’s bringing us back in time to the good ole days full of live concerts and dancing.
The upbeat music video is a collection of live performance and behind-the-scenes clips from her Wildcard Tour, where she shared the stage with LANCO and Cody Johnson. Unfortunately, the tour was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the four-minute video gives us that taste of normalcy that we are all craving right about now.
Throughout the video, the icon is seen dressed to the nines in country-inspired get-ups, from colorful fringe to a diverse array of cowboy boots. But what makes this video stand out above the rest? Is the amount of tequila thrown back in honor of live music bringing country fans together. The energy on and off the stage is captivating and contagious.
“Filmed this at a show before everything shut down,” says Lambert on Twitter. “We miss singing with Y’all. But love that you have given this song a life of its own since day one.”
Tequila Does. Live video. Out now. Filmed this at a show before everything shut down. We miss singing with y’all. But love that you have given this song a life of its own since day one.

The country jam is from her 2019 Wildcard album and was penned by the blonde powerhouse herself, alongside her two talented friends Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. Unlike several other musicians within the industry, Lambert had the opportunity to perform this single live at different venues before the tour was brought to a sudden halt.
If it is safe to take the stage, this country girl has a handful of dates on the calendar for the summer of 2021. Expect to see Lambert at the upcoming Grammy Awards on March 14, as her Wildcard project is nominated for “Best Country Album,” and her No. 1 hit tune “Bluebird” is nominated for “Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance.”
