It’s time for another weekly roundup from some of country music’s hottest artists including Kenny Chesney, Jordan Davis, Bailey Zimmerman and more.
A rather surprising duet has hit airways this week, but we love to see it.
Enrique Iglesias teamed up with country queen Miranda Lambert for love song “Space in My Heart”. This is Iglesias’ third single from his forthcoming record, Final Vol. 2, and marks Lambert’s first release of the year. They sing, “You don’t love me yet, but I know you will / If you only felt half of what I feel. / If you ever go, I will never change. / There’s a space in my heart and it’s just your shape.”
Travis Denning released single “Roads That Go Nowhere” ahead of his debut record Roads That Go Nowhere on May 24. The project is produced by Paul DiGiovanni and Jeremy Stover and features collaborations with HARDY and Josh Ross. Ahead of this release, Denning says, “Roads That Go Nowhere is a culmination of songs and stories that I really believe reflect where I’ve come from, what I’ve been through, and the places I’ve yet to go and where I want to go. That’s with love, music, life, everything. I’m at that point in my life where I’m able to look back and reflect on the things that have gotten me here. A lot of them are positive and there are some negatives for sure. But I think that’s kind of everybody’s goal is to be able to look back and just be happy with the progress they’ve made and the potential they’ve still got.”
George Birge unleashed a new ballad “Cowboy Songs” and confessed, “Growing up playing dive bars in Texas, I always wanted to capture that image in a song,” Birge said. “The moment we started writing ‘Cowboy Songs,’ I was instantly transported back to a hot, smoky, throwback dance hall night in the Austin, Texas that I grew up in. I couldn’t love it more.”
