The two gave America a live debut of their new collaboration track “Undivided,” a song that symbolizes unity and faith.
“When I was in quarantine with COVID-19, I got to take a good hard look at myself. Inspired by my faith in God to reunite our country,” says Tyler Hubbard from Florida Georgia Line. “I wrote this song, and I sent it to Tim.”
While the duo was gearing up to perform on the east bank of the Cumberland River in Nashville, McGraw shared that the lyrics from the track “Undivided” made him feel some type of way. “The song’s message of unity and faith stirred my soul,” said McGraw, who kicked-off the grand performance.
Tyler and Chris Locke co-wrote the upbeat and heartfelt track, “I think it’s time to come together/ You and I can make a change/ Maybe we can make a difference / Make the world a better place,” the pair sang, looking out towards the strong and resilient city of Nashville.
It’s no surprise that McGraw and Hubbard received the invite to honor President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, as the country powerhouses are often using their voice to encourage change. Both are vocal when it comes to expressing their thoughts and opinions on racial equality and gun reform. In fact, on January 6, McGraw took to Twitter to comment on the unfortunate event that took place at the U.S Capitol.
“A terribly sad day for America, a terribly sad day for leadership,” says McGraw.

As one door closes and another door opens, several artists within the industry came together to represent their country and to show that music can unite everyone at the end of the day. Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Bruce Springsteen, and Jon Bon Jovi were some of the celebrities who performed at the historic concert.
Garth Brooks also represented the country music industry, as he sang a beautiful rendition of “Amazing Grace” at the Presidential inauguration ceremony.
