Our favorite day of the week has finally arrived, meaning more new music is out and ready for us to enjoy.
ERNEST is kicking off this week’s New Music Friday playlist with latest single “Kiss Of Death.” Written with Andy Albert and Ryan Vojtesak, the new song offers the next tasting from ERNEST’s next album cycle following Mother’s Day ballad “Takes After You.” The single also proceeds records Flower Shops: Two Dozen Roses Deluxe Album and ERNEST & The Fellas Unplugged.
“Kiss Of Death” explores an untraditional relationship brimming with both pain and pleasure overtop an infectious melody that the singer + songwriter is known for. He sings, “‘Cause I feel like dancing with the devil / Take my heart and rip it out my chest / When I’m with you I’m good as gone girl / My angel in a fire red dress / My kiss of death Kiss me, kill me”

Lady A has also released their brand new single “A Love Song,” but it’s not a love story. Sorry, no joy today. The song depicts a broken relationship as Kelley and Scott trade off verses.
We are also HIGHLY cherishing new releases from some of favorites including Flatland Cavalry, Carter Faith, Tenille Arts, Chayce Beckham, Alana Springsteen, Megan Moroney, Abbey Cone, The Cadillac Three, Dallas Smith, Alexandra Kay, Logan Mize, Dillon Carmichael, Matt Schuster and more.
Also ‘tis the season to start prepping for the holidays as Jon Pardi released his Christmas project Merry Christmas from Jon Pardi as well as Maddie & Tae’s We Need Christmas.
We also have a few collaborations this week that we LOVE including “Boys Back Home” by Dylan Marlowe and Dylan Scott, “Mama He’s Crazy” by Lainey Wilson and Dolly Parton, “Alcohol” with X Ambassadors and BRELAND and “stayed a summer” with Erin Kinsey and Josh Kerr.
