Happy New Music Friday, country fans!
We made it through the first week of March and to celebrate, our favorite country stars blessed us with new music. I don’t know what we did to deserve new hits from Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, and Miranda Lambert all in one day, but their potential chart-topping tracks are here and they are exactly what we needed to kick-off the weekend strong.
Coming in first and claiming number one on our New Music Friday playlist is the one and only Thomas Rhett! The award-winning vocalist announced on Friday, March 5 that he is releasing a DOUBLE album called Country Again which tells the story of his musical journey and his childhood. Rhett will be distributing the album in two parts “Side A” and “Side B.” The first 11 tracks will be out on April 30. However, the artist is teasing the collection with two early releases of “Want It Again” and “Growing Up.”
Country Again: Side A is everything I wanted to say when I was 19 years old but hadn’t lived enough to know how to say any of those things yet,” says Thomas Rhett in a statement. “It’s about the crazy journey that took me out into the world over the last ten years and ultimately brought me back home, more centered and content than ever, with a deep understanding for what’s important in life. I’ve had a blast sharing some of these songs in their acoustic form during quarantine and I am blown away by the reaction the fans have already shown.”
Next up we have female vocalist, Miranda Lambert who also announced an upcoming album with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. The LP entitled The Marfa Tapes is set to drop May 7. “Recorded In Marfa, TX. They’re raw. You can hear the wind blowing, the cows mooing… we wanted you to feel like you were right there with us, sitting around the campfire, escaping the world, disappearing into the music,” says Lambert on her Instagram. Now, you can get a sneak peek of the type of songs that will be included in the unique collection with their new release “In His Arms.”

Many other musicians caught our eye and immanently earned high placement on our list – Luke Bryan’s new single “Drink A Little Whiskey Down,” CMT’S “Next Women of Country” singer Ashley McBryde’s “Martha Divine” live concert video, Midland’s “Cowgirl Blues,” Matthew West‘s “Truth Be Told” featuring Carly Pearce and “What Do I Know” by Robert Counts featuring HARDY.
Some big names like Scotty McCreery, Zac Brown Band, and Brett Eldredge dropped music videos for “Your Time,” “The Man Who Loves You The Most,” and “Good Day.” We also have several ear-worm tracks from emerging musicians including Brooke Eden, Brett Kissel, Liddy Clark, Wild Fire, Karissa Ella, and Matt Jordan.
