This year the country people spoke and chose who they wanted — Blake Shelton.
The 2017 People’s Choice Awards took place last night (January 18) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and was definitely a night to remember for The Voice coach and his fans.
Shelton was nominated for three awards — Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Male Country Artist, and Favorite Album — and won two out of the three awards. The Voice also won Favorite TV Competition Show, which is where the country singer coaches contestants each week for America’s votes.
He also performed “Every Time I Hear That Song,” his latest single from his most recent album, If I’m Being Honest, live for the first time on national television and the crowd absolutely loved his performance.
