Austin Burke is here to tell you that your person is in fact out there.
The budding country crooner is flipping the script on the common saying “boys will be boys” by breaking down stereotypes in his new single “Boys Won’t Be Boys,” which is available now on all music streaming platforms.
Written by Renee Blair, Matt Alderman, and Ty Graham, the track captures the essence of youthful innocence and the transformative power of finding the right person to love. Reminiscing about his own coming-of-age story, falling in love with his wife of three years, Lexy, the song was one that Austin connected with and knew that it would resonate with his supportive fanbase.
“I actually didn’t write this song, but when I received it from Renee Blair I knew the first time I listened to it I had to put my take on it. This song took on a life of its own when I was able to record with Brandon Day,” Austin tells Celeb Secrets Country in an exclusive interview. “Lexy and I have been together since we were 18. She has continued to love me through every stage since we met. I’m not the same boy she fell in love with but I hope I’m a much better man; especially as we bring a boy into this world.”
With over 200 million career streams, a publishing deal with Warner Chapell, performances at the Grand Ole Opry and over 1 million followers on TikTok and Instagram combined, Austin is about to embark on one of the biggest journeys of his life in just a few weeks — becoming a father to son Benny Burke.
“I can’t wait! I don’t think you can ever truly ‘prepare’ for a new baby but we are so excited to take it day by day,” Austin says about becoming a Dad. “I have a cover song project releasing in a few weeks completely inspired by this chapter of my life as a new Dad.”

AB: “There’s a line in the second verse that says ‘painting guest rooms pink,’ that immediately made me think of my wife. Back in 2020, we actually painted our entire house pink to turn into a Bachelorette themed AirBNB and even though we have a boy on the way, the line immediately made me think of Lexy turning our own guest room into a new nursery.”
