Jelly Roll is taking us to Church this weekend, and we ain’t mad about it.

As a part of this week’s New Music Friday, the chart-topping artist dropped Whitsitt Chapel, a 13-track project that includes hits like “Save Me” with Lainey Wilson, “Unlive” with Yelawolf, “She” and “Need a Favor.”

While Jelly Roll serves as a writer on each and every track, some of today’s biggest artists lent their pens to various songs on the album, with HARDY, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Brantley Gilbert and more serving as co-writers throughout the project itself.

The convict-turned-country star has shared publicly that Whitsitt Chapel is extremely special to him, serving as a “Backroad Baptism” that takes listeners on a journey through faith, addiction, love and more.

With just one listen from top to bottom, we can guarantee that this journey is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that you need to check out for yourself.

On Wednesday (May 31st), Jelly Roll celebrated the release of Whitsitt Chapel with a monumental performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

While standing on the historic stage, Jelly Roll looked out into the packed crowd and uttered,”Holy s**t. I can’t believe we sold this out for an album release party,” proceeding to perform his brand new album from top to bottom.

This intimate concert came just one night after Jelly Roll premiered his documentary, Jelly Roll: Save Me, also live at the Ryman Auditorium.

According to Billboard, “Jelly Roll: Save Me is a new ABC News documentary that will provide an in-depth look at how the ‘Son of a Sinner‘ singer went from struggling with addiction and his mental health to country stardom,” and it is available to stream now on Hulu.

With new music AND a new documentary, we will be consuming strictly Jelly Roll-related content until further notice…

Aside from Jelly Roll’s spectacular album, more of today’s biggest country stars dropped new tunes that we are obsessed with, including Corey Kent, Lauren Alaina, Ashley McBryde, Warren Zeiders, Dylan Scott, LANCO, Colter Wall, Graham Barham, Sam Barber, David J and more.

Drew Parker even released his label debut EP, At The End Of The Dirt Road, under Warner Music Nashville as a part of this week’s New Music Friday — Click HERE to read our exclusive interview with the talented singer-songwriter.

To top it all off, some stellar collaborations were featured on this week’s New Music Friday playlist, with Brandi Carlile hopping onto Tanya Tucker‘s album, Sweet Western Sound, as well as Kim Keyes, Dolly Parton and Jamie O’Neal, hopping onto Kenny Rogers‘ album, Life Is Like A Song.
