The biggest chart-toppers in country music are coming together to be honored for their achievements at the 2022 CMT Artists of the Year!
Taking place at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee tonight (October 12), the official kick-off event for AOTY has a star-studded lineup of honorees, performers and presenters who are posing for photos and chatting with press in killer looks before the big show.
This year, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Walker Hayes will receive top honors at the annual award show, alongside “Breakout Artist of the Year” Lainey Wilson and “Artist of a Lifetime” Alan Jackson.
During the ceremony, fans will get to experience never-before-seen performances and collaborations, along with special guests, performers and presenters. Carly, Cody, Kane and Lainey are all expected to take sing their chart-topping hits, along with a special collaboration between Walker Hayes and Ciara and a Luke Combs cover by Riley Green. Additionally, Alan Jackson will accept the “Artist of a Lifetime Award” and hit the stage for one of his final television performances.
Chris Stapleton, Dale Earnhart Jr., Dan + Shay, Dustin Lynch, Kelsea Ballerini, Yellowstone‘s Kelsey Asbille, Gary Levox, Shane McAnally, Julia Cole, Jessie James Decker & Eric Decker, Sacha, Sam Stephens, Jenna Paulette, Sacha, Wendy Moten, Kimberly Kelly, Laci Kaye Booth, Lily Rose, Chapel Hart, Camille Parker and more are also in attendance to show their support for their peers.
