Luke Combs is in the spotlight again; but this time it’s for his incredible heart rather than his incredible music.

The country music superstar “cleared the list” for a North Carolina school teacher and fellow Appalachian alumni. The #ClearTheList movement invites those from all walks of life whether it be friends, family or even famous stars to help out teachers in need of school supplies for their students.

According to the foundation’s website, the mission of such a movement serves to bridge a connection for those who want to help out educators and educators in need.

“Our mission is to connect schools and teachers with corporations, organizations, and community members that are looking to contribute to the enhancement of learning opportunities for all students.”

Reaching out to a fellow “community member,” teacher Kelly Kirk tweeted to Combs to see if he would take on the task.

“Hi @lukecombs! I wanted to reach out and see if you wanted to support an Appalachian Alumni with her teacher Amazon wish list! I teach kindergarten in NC and could use some help with #clearthelist. Appreciate the support! #Amazon #TMobile #supportateacher https://amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/VJR04KNNZ81U?ref_=wl_share”

And just like that Combs showed his commendable support for the teacher and her students.

“Cleared it for ya. Good luck to your students and GO APPS!, tweeted Combs.”

This act of giving isn’t the first of its kind from a country music star, as Casey Donahew set to raise substantial funds for #ClearTheList back in 2019.

Blake Shelton has also made his mark on this movement by clearing the list for a Texas teacher in need in 2020.

Now in 2021, it seems the action of giving back is still strong in the country music community. Fans can agree that these commendable names and many more are not only making great music but making a real difference!
