Christina Taylor has taken her raw undeniable talents and poured them into a new soulful track that serves as a total heartbreak anthem. The singer-songwriter has quickly made her mark in the industry, turning heads over and over again with smash hit after hit.

And while fans have come to know and love her previously released songs such as “Settin’ Myself on Fire,” “That Girl” and “Loser,” Taylor continuously proves just how much of an “artist to watch” she really is.

2021 brings five new tracks for Taylor. In an exclusive interview with Celeb Secrets Country, the singer-songwriter gave telling details on the wide spectrum of masterful music she has set to be released.

All of the new music I plan to release this year is a step up for me,” said Taylor. “It all shows a more mature side of me while also keeping things fun. I have a really cool summer song coming out here soon, and then I also have a slower, more sentimental release coming later in the year. I tried to cover the spectrum of emotions with my songs this year so that everyone would have something to relate to!”

Taylor’s ability to pen emotions into music is a skill of the highest caliber. Her first slated single for 2021, “I Got That From You,” takes all the feelings of heartbreak and places the emotion into a piece of art. Written alongside Kelley Lovelace and Lynn Hutton, Taylor has produced what can only be described as a masterpiece song.

Having now released the music video to accompany this track, the addicting project in full has swept fans by storm. Like a fond memory wrapped up in perfectly packaged new music, Taylor shares that having her family highlighted in her music video has not only touched her heart, but fans alike.

“My favorite part was that I got to include old family photos and videos of my childhood and my parents,” said Taylor of the music video. “It makes me emotional every time I watch it, and I’ve had a lot of people comment that it makes them feel nostalgic as well.”
