The 28th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game went down in Nashville this weekend and Celeb Secrets Country joined Music Row’s biggest names to help strike out cancer!

Held at First Tennessee Park, the event was filled with fans in town for the 2018 CMA Music Festival for a fun round of softball for a great cause. Things kicked off with American Idol season 15 champion Trent Harmon singing the national anthem followed by country duo Walker McGuire leading the traditional coin toss. 

Split up into two teams — Team Grand Ole Opry and Team iHeart — talent that participated in the game included Adam Craig, Adam Doleac, Brandi Cyrus, Brett Kissel, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Charles Esten, Drew and Jonathan Scott of HGTV’s The Property BrothersEddie Garcia and Ray Slater of The Bobby Bones Show, Gabby Barrett, Jackie Lee, Jay Cutler, Jennifer Fiedler and Trey Smith of Smithfield, Lauren Alaina, Liz Rose, Lucas Hoge, Maddie Poppe, Marc Mariani, Megan Alexander, Seth Ennis, Shawn Parr, Tegan Marie, and Uncle Si and the Si-Cotics with team captains Bobby Bones for iHeartMedia, and Bill Cody and City of Hope cancer patient Brian Lambert for Grand Ole Opry

Guest announcers Naomi JuddJeannie SeelyTim Rushlow, and Charlie Monk, joined by iHeart Media radio personality and Master of Ceremonies, Gator Harrison calling the play by play, Team Grand Ole Opry defeated Team iHeart 6-5 in extra innings.
