Granger Smith kicked off his Don’t Tread on Me Tour at New York City’s famed Irving Plaza on Thursday night (January 18) and CS Country is giving you the scoop on what went down!

The show was Smith’s New York City full band debut, and boy was it a night to remember. Playing to a packed house, Smith performed a charged set of songs from his new album When The Good Guys Winmixed with beloved tracks from previous records.

Dubbed YEE YEE Nation, Granger’s rabid and energized followers showed up in droves to sing along to “Backroad Song,” “If The Boot Fits” and Granger’s current single “Happens Like That.” Smith showed gratitude for his fans by not only playing their favorite songs, but also interacting with them — signing posters, taking selfies, and even sharing beers — all while performing!

“This show is special because not only is it the first time we’ve played New York City, but because this is such a packed house,” Smith told the crowd. “It’s cool to see so many country fans in one of the greatest music cities in the world.”

Smith will be making stops performing across the US and Canada from now until April. To purchase tickets, visit grangersmith.com.
