It’s one of the hottest shows of the summer and country music! The 2017 CMT Music Awards were another huge success – filled with jaw-dropping performances and star-studded presenters – the show was one to remember.
Hosted by Nashville star Charles Esten, the show was broadcast live on CMT from the Bridgestone Arena on June 7. And guess what, Nashies? The host confirmed season six of Nashville is coming!
2017 CMT Music Awards: Grey Carpet Arrivals
Performers included Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, and more. Meanwhile, big winners of the night were Lauren Alaina, Little Big Town, and Carrie Underwood. Fans loved the collaboration performances from Florida Georgia Line and The Chainsmokers, and Lady Antebellum with Earth, Wind, and Fire.
The star of the night was Keith Urban, who took home four CMT awards – including the most coveted award of the night – Video of the Year, for “Blue Ain’t Your Color”.
