Jake Owen is back with a bang for this week’s New Music Friday, dropping his seventh studio album, Loose Cannon, on all music streaming platforms 💥

Upon the release of his highly-anticipated project, the country crooner took to Twitter to express his excitement, sharing with his two million followers, “These songs are all over the map, which is really what a loose cannon is, and sort of who I am. Anytime you make something creative it’s scary, but also fulfilling and interested to see what songs y’all get stuck on.”

According to a recent press release, “the 16-track album give[s] fans a collection of summertime staples, with sunshine-soaked lyrics that tip their hat to classic country rhythms audiences of all generations can crack a cold one too. With 10 number one singles and over 2.5 billion streams across his decorated career, Owen continues to share his unique blend of laid back, feel-good country,” and we wholeheartedly agree.

Fans already know and love four of Loose Cannon‘s beloved tracks, “On The Boat Again,” “Solo, Solo,” “Nothing” and “Hot Truck Beer,” given that the talented singer-songwriter released them as a teaser of the full-length project back in May — You can read all about it HERE.

We can guarantee that the other 12 tracks are equally as incredible, gearing you up for a fun-filled summer with the perfect country playlist!
