Diplo is back with a brand new project as a part of this week’s New Music Friday, featuring just the right amount of country twang 🤠

After dropping Thomas Wesley: Chapter 1 – Snake Oil in 2020, featuring hits like “Heartless” with Morgan Wallen, “Dance With Me” with Thomas Rhett and Young Thug and more, fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting to see what chapter two would entail.

Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant dropped TODAY (April 28th) on all music streaming platforms, featuring collaborations with stars like Lily Rose, Morgan Wade, Parker McCollum and more, and we can ensure that it exceeds ALL expectations.

“To prepare for this new Thomas Wesley project, I went back to my father’s house in Florida and I spent six months learnin guitar, gettin in touch with nature, working his boat when the shrimp were running on full moons at the trailer park,” Diplo shared. “I tried on a lot of cowboy hats. I rode a lot of motorcycles and horses basically reflected on my whole life and career and connection with this music…there was a lot. It all started in the swamps I was raised in.”

He concluded passionately, “This is the greatest single piece of work I’ve ever done, I can promise you that,” and we wholeheartedly agree!

To top it all off, the release of this highly-anticipated project lines up perfectly with Stagecoach this year, where the electronic DJ is making his return.

The Mississippi native shared via Twitter, “Swamp Savant is out now 🥹 To celebrate, I put up this billboard on the way to @Stagecoach and threw a party. Let me know ur favorite song.”

Diplo will be performing his annual “Late Night in Palomino” set on Sunday night, after Chris Stapleton‘s ICONIC headlining performance, however, this year he has a stage of his own…

Diplo’s HonkyTonk Stage will feature one-of-a-kind sets from Dillon Francis, Cheat Codes, Blake Horstmann, Girl Talk, Lost Frequencies and more, and every performance is sure to bring a little edginess to the desert 🌵

Aside from Diplo’s one-of-a-kind project, more of our favorite country stars dropped music we seriously can’t turn off, including Danielle Bradbery, Willie Jones, Nate Smith, Warren Zeiders, Alana Springsteen, Chayce Beckham, Kylie Morgan, Griffen Palmer, Charles Esten and more.

Shania Twain and Cole Swindell expanded upon their previously-released projects, dropping deluxe versions of both Queen Of Me AND Stereotype.

In addition to this, Kip Moore put out a brand new project titled Damn Love that fans have been extremely eager to hear. You can read our exclusive interview with Kip and get all of the behind-the-scenes secrets HERE.

To make things even better, this week’s New Music Friday playlist features some FIRE collaborations as well.
