Blanco Brown is starting the new year on the right foot!

The 37-year-old dropped his new song “I’ll Never” on all music streaming platforms earlier this month (January 13), which is an emotional ballad unlike anything the TrailerTrap king has released in the past.

The Georgia native rose to success in 2019 with his song “The Git Up,” topping the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and reaching the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, all while simultaneously making waves on social media.

Directly following fun and funky tracks like “Trap Still Bumpin’” with T.I. and “Let It Slide” with LOCASH and the late Leslie Jordan, “I’ll Never” begins a brand new era for Brown, putting more emotion into his lyrics than ever before.

In an exclusive interview, Blanco Brown told Celeb Secrets reporter Melanie Rooten ALL about the new track, as well as his upcoming project, plans for live shows and more.

“The meaning behind ‘I’ll Never’ is to learn to love someone the way they need to be loved, because everybody requires to be loved differently, even if that means looking in the mirror, learning to love yourself just a little bit more,” he shares.

It has been said that “I’ll Never” will “no doubt be the go-to first dance song of wedding season,” and we couldn’t agree more! The song is truly special, and you NEED to go listen for yourself.

The 37-year-old also revealed to us that “I’ll Never” is part of a project we can expect to hear towards the end of 2023, diving deeper into his more emotional side.

“I’m more in depth and personal on this album, so if you listen to it, you are gonna find a few things about me that you probably didn’t know,” he teased. We are so excited to see this new side of Brown, and the release of “I’ll Never” is clearly just the beginning of big things in the new year.

In regards to the overall sound of his upcoming project, Blanco says it’s “a little bit of trap, a little bit of trailer.” This is no surprise, considering Trailer Trap is a genre of music created by Brown himself that he is EXTREMELY proud of.

For those who don’t know, Trailer Trap — according to Brown — is “country music essentially with 808 hi-hats. If you listen to rap music, you know what trap music is, but it’s the sound of that 808 and hi-hats in a certain snare that makes it not pop, not all the way country, like it gives it a little bit of flair.”

“When you stand for something and you live for it, you love for it, you should definitely own it. I did it because I didn’t have to choose what was priority, because music as a whole for me is just priority. That’s nothing like music, and this world will be miserable without a soundtrack,” he said passionately.

With new music aside, Blanco revealed to us that in 2023 he plans to “keep the shows going,” which is GREAT news to his 500,000+ fans on social media and beyond.

“I love to perform and see people’s reaction, and my show is joy from the beginning to the end,” he shared. “We have fun every time we touch the stage. It don’t matter what’s going on. It could be a crowd of 60,000. It could be a crowd of 500. We gonna have fun.”

Until we can catch one of these fun-filled shows, we will be streaming “I’ll Never” nonstop AND waiting for his highly-anticipated project to drop. Listen for yourself below, and let us know what you think of the track by either leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post or by sending us a tweet at @CS_Country.
