Jimmie Allen is back with new music, as his third studio album Tulip Drive is dropping Friday, June 24th.

In a press release, the “Down Home” singer revealed that his upcoming album would be coming sooner than fans may have expected, but also said he’s excited for the world to hear the new songs.

“A lot of the songs on this album are from that time period. This is the first album where a lot of the songs are actually written based off a lot of my own personal life experiences – from relationships, the hardships of life, to the parties & the good times,” Allen revealed.

He went on to explain the meaning behind the title of the album and what it means to him. “A lot of these songs are based off things I went through when I was in later in high school and college, at a place where I was just learning a lot of life lessons from my grandmother. I wanted to honor her by naming this album Tulip Drive, after the street she lived on in Lewes, DE.”

Along with this big announcement, Allen is also currently on the road for his first-ever headlining tour called the Down Home Tour 2022. More information about dates and venues of the shows left in the tour can be found here
