Another week means another piping HOT New Music Friday playlist!

Leading names in Nashville, gave us our daily dose of country music and we already have their
potential top-charting hits on reply. Celeb Secrets Country is entering the weekend swooning over a collaboration we don’t exactly deserve! On Friday, April 9 Taylor Swift dropped the re-recording of her Fearless 2008 album, which now includes six tracks from the “vault.”

Thankfully, Swifties cracked the code to the secret “Vault” because Taylor granted us a ballad called “That’s When” with country legend Keith Urban. Within the lyrics, Swift is battling her internal emotions during a challenging breakup. The country-turned-pop icon kicks off the love story, but Urban joins in on the second verse and chorus.

“I’m really honored that @KeithUrban is a part of this project, duetting on ‘That’s When’ and singing harmonies on ‘We Were Happy.’ I was his opening act during the Fearless album era and his music has inspired me endlessly,” says the queen on Twitter.

Throughout the bittersweet track, Urban takes on the role of the man who played with Taylor’s heart. However, before the song comes to an end, the two reunite and reconcile.

Taylor penned “That’s When” back in her heydays with the Warren Brothers, a songwriting duo. Now, she produced the 2021 version with her good friend Jack Antonoff. You can also find Urban doing backup vocals on her other recent release track “We Were Happy.”

Other buzzworthy releases that we can’t stop listening to come from LANCO, Tim McGraw, Walker Hayes, Brett Kissel, Morgan Wade, Cole Swindell, and Luke Bryan’s six-song collection that completes his Born Here Live Here Die Here record.

Although, newcomers are stealing the spotlight with their honky-tonk hits like “Wish You Were The Whiskey” by CMT’s Next Women of Country, Priscilla Block, Riley Green’s “Where Corn Don’t Grow,” Jameson Rogers “Good Dogs,” Holdyn Barder’s “Backroad Baby,” Lauren Jenkins “Like You Found Me,” and the free-spirited anthem “Weekend” by Tyra Madison. Several other emerging musicians such as Thomas Csorba, Mike RyanCasi Joy, Callie Twisselman and Drew Green earned a well-deserved spot on our New Music Friday Playlist.
