On Thursday (September 12), Brett Young took the stage to exclusively entertain Hilton Honors Members inside the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and Celeb Secrets Country was there to catch all of the fun! The intimate venue showcased a gorgeous view of downtown Nashville’s skyline, providing an extra level of excitement and uniqueness to the show.
“We actually have a very cool relationship with Hilton,” Young told Sounds Like Nashville at the event. “They have been so good to us. I love stuff like this just because it is a little more personal. Touring can get a little bit like ‘Groundhog Day,’ but this gives you an intimate way to interact with fans. They have spent their hard-earned money to cash in their points to come to this show. It feels like there is more of a genuine connection.”
Making an entrance in his Tennessee Titans Jersey, Young kicked off the party with his latest single “Catch” and kept the feel good mood going with “Used to Missing You” and “1,2,3 Mississippi.” Catering to the romanticism of the stunning view, Young focused his attention to the couples in the room.
“Yeah, you can slow dance,” he said to the audience, as he performed “In Case You Didn’t Know” and “Reasons to Stay.”
Fans couldn’t help but sing and dance along to Young’s fun and entertaining medley of Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out Of Heaven,” Post Malone’s “Better Now,” and Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself.”
Leaving the crowd wanting more as chants of “Mercy”echoed through the room, Young happily complied with the request and beautifully performed the song along with a more feel good tune “Here Tonight” to close out the show.
Guests were also treated to a Southern Style buffet, an open bar, complimentary baseball hats, and a photo station to add to the fun! “This is an example of what Hilton does,” Young told Sounds Like Nashville. “It’s the kind of next level customer service that they offer. It’s really cool that Hilton wants to make me a part of it.”
