It’s crazy to think that Hootie & The Blowfish is still one of the most recognizable household names to date. You’ll hear their iconic tunes come across your airwaves these days, and it takes you to a nostalgic place that you never want to leave.

The group took over Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN as part of their Group Therapy Tour last weekend (September 7) and had every seat filled with fans from all kinds of different backgrounds and ages. Playing hits like “Hold My Hand” and “Let Her Cry,” the audience (and even CS Country reporters) were not disappointed with the performance along with the incredible show quality provided.

Did we mention that the band also performed covers of hits from other artists? We got a taste of “With A Little Help From My Friends” by The Beatles, “I Go Blind” by 54-40, and of course the “Wagon Wheel” originally performed by Old Crow Medicine Show.

It was a night of incredible music and an atmosphere that is incomparable to any concert we’ve ever been to. The group’s frontman, Darius Rucker, also performed a few of his own hits such as “Alright” that dazzled the crowd and had everyone jamming out.
