Earlier today, the nominees for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards were announced and they include some of country music’s biggest chart-toppers.

To no surprise, Chris Stapleton leads the pack with five nominations, followed by Sam Hunt with four. Other notable nominees include Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Florida Georgia Line, and Thomas Rhett.

It was also super amazing to see country music be represented in categories other than country — Sam Hunt is up for the Billboard Achievement Award with artists like Drake, Cardi B, and Ed Sheeran in the same category, while Chris Stapleton is alongside Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, and P!NK for Top Billboard 200 Artist and Top Selling Album.

Hosted by Kelly Clarkson, the 2018 Billboard Music Awards will air LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20th @ 8PM ET/5PM PT on NBC. You can vote for your favorite artists by visiting the BBMAs official website here.
