CMA week is already super exciting, but throw in the news that your single just went PLATINUM and it’s an absolute dream come true. This happened for Curb Records recording artist Dylan Scott, as his debut single “My Girl” has reached over 1 million combined sales and streams in the U.S. alone.
To celebrate, Scott and his Curb Records’ team, family, friends and members of the music industry gathered at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum yesterday (November 6) for an intimate soirée to toast the singer-songwriter and present him with the official plaque.
The party was filled with great food, a supportive group of hardworking people, and a positive feeling that could not be ignored. Everyone was so proud of this huge accomplishment!
During the event, Dylan went up on stage and said his thanks to everyone involved in the making of this project and the support that they all provided. This accomplishment was achieved by a group of people who dedicated a lot of time towards Dylan. It was a humbling experience to see!
Dylan Scott has been quite busy — he’s been playing shows, promoting his holiday album Merry Christmas, and preparing for a baby, who is expected to arrive in September. Going Platinum only further demonstrated the remarkable work that he is able to put out there.
Congrats, Dylan!
