Last night was RCA Nashville recording artist Jake Owen’s first headlining performance in Nashville. Owen’s goal was to turn the Ascend Amphitheater into a beach party for the night and that he did.
“My first performance as a headliner in Nashville was everything I hoped it would be,” said Owen. “The audience was on their feet the entire set singing our songs. My little girl, my parents and my twin brother came into town from Florida to see the show.”
“There were so many people in the crowd who helped me get to where I am today. Having Eric Paslay join me on stage to sing the song that changed my life, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” which he co-wrote was so awesome. It was a special night that I’ll never forget,” he added.
