This morning (3/18), Trisha Yearwood was home in Nashville when she Facetimed her friends Mandy, Bryan (AKA Hashtag) and husband, Garth Brooks in Austin for her weekly T’s Coffee Talk Facebook Live chat.
Garth, who gave a keynote address at SXSW yesterday (3/17) and later performed a surprise set at a local honky tonk, was fast asleep. The Coffee Talk trio of friends woke him and got the scoop directly from the Country icon, who shared his thoughts about the experience (watch below). Even as he prepares for another performance today, he missed having Trisha by his side, as she is each night of the Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood.
Trisha also talked about this week’s episode of Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, titled “Coffee Talk,” where her social media crew made their first cameo to help her make a menu that included Mexican Iced Coffee, Quick Roasted Chicken with Garlicky Herb Sauce, Cheesy Hasselback Potatoes and a Ginger Peach Crumble with Buttered Pecan Topping. The friends also all got the memo on what to wear – brand new T’s Coffee Talk hoodies – which are available at TrishaYearwood.com and Trisha’s Facebook page.
This morning, two fans were chosen from the viewers on Facebook to receive hoodies of their own.
