This morning (3/4), Trisha Yearwood took a break from the craziness of the World Tour and held her weekly coffee talk with her Sister Beth from the comfort of her couch at home. While sipping their coffee from Whole Foods’ sample cups, the sisters answered fan questions from a giant bowl and laughed their way through favorite childhood memories.
Trisha vented to viewers about what annoyed her most about growing up with Beth. She shared that they had an extravagant Barbie house that was equipped with numerous home accessories and, of course, a full kitchen. Beth would always trick Trisha into packing up the entire set by threatening to leave. In response, Sweet Trisha would always offer to take everything inside if it meant they could play for longer. Beth said this worked like a charm every time.
Trisha and Beth were also asked to share their best-kept secret from their parents, which immediately led to an outburst of laughs. The sisters shared that they were driving back to Nashville with Trisha’s enormous German Sheppard mix while Beth was 8 month pregnant with her first child. Their car ended up running out of gas, leaving them stranded on an interstate in the middle of the night, half a mile from the nearest gas station. With the giant dog in hand, the girls had to walk through deep grass on the side of the road to get to the gas station. They ended up meeting a generous stranger who drove them back to their car and filled up the tank. The girls kept the secret from their parents until after Beth’s child was born.
After giggling through more fan questions and spilling about a recent baking fail, the chat came to a close so that fans could tune into an encore episode of Trisha’s Southern Kitchen with Reba.
