Celeb Secrets Country: Can you tell us about your worst date?
Kristian Bush: “I went on a date once with a woman who opened up the conversation with, ‘I’m on cold medicine.’ And I was like, this is going to be really weird. One of our friends had set us up, and I remember we were at an Italian restaurant. It was so uniquely uncomfortable how much we did not get along. It was interesting to find out that a number of years later she married my brother.”
Celeb Secrets Country: Who is your biggest celebrity crush?
Kristian Bush: “Oh man, I have a lot of them. I’m currently on an Amy Adams binge. Talent plus hair plus eyeballs. I’m a bit of a sci-fi geek, so yeah, I’m not very apologetic about it, I’m kind of a dork. Sometimes I find myself googling actresses’ names who are in the movies.”
Celeb Secrets Country: Tell us about your weirdest fan encounter!
Kristian Bush: “I think the thing that took me by surprise was someone asked me to sign their baby. I casually pulled out a sharpie to sign the onesie and she was like no, no no no, on his skin. I thought it was wrong, but I ended up doing it. My feeling is that fans are never wrong. It is such a big risk to become a fan of anything. If you reach out to a celebrity and you tell them that their work matters to you, its your job as the person who made that stuff, to participate.”
Celeb Secrets Country: What are some weird habits you have?
Kristian Bush: “Recently I’ve gotten into this strange thing where I play a lot of board games. They get pretty intense. If you’re looking for a gateway drug, Ticket to Ride, or Codename.”
