Ever since Sandra Lynn dropped her catchy and relatable “Bar Hoppin'” in 2015, we’ve been dying for more music!

Two weeks ago, Lynn answered our prayers and released her new track “Hey California” on Radio Disney Country. The single, co-written by Lynn and Dave Brainard (Brandy Clark), who also produced the track, describes a picture-perfect day on the West Coast and all that comes with it—sunshine, romance, even a flair of mystery.

“I feel like this song is such a strong identity piece for me,” Sandra says. “It represents some of my earliest influences, like the Beach Boys and Sheryl Crow, and it captures my love for country music and my roots as a California girl.”

Celeb Secrets Country caught up with Sandra during the 2017 CMA Music Festival last week in Nashville to talk all about “Hey California!” In the video below, the “Bar Hoppin'” singer dished on the inspiration behind the track, her upcoming plans for the rest of 2017, and her dancing gig before she became a country singer.
