Brad Paisley performed a special set last week (November 11) for the iHeartCountry Live With Brad Paisley Presented by Citi Masterpass event at the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, CA.
While he played favorites such as “He Didn’t Have to Be” and “Little Moments,” he also performed his current hit single “Today.“
Brad spoke about how “Today” came together, which he says he has mostly kept under wraps. The genesis was 8 years ago and he wanted everyone to realize this particular song can mean anything to you depending on if you are in the middle of an important moment in your life.
When they were making the music video for “Today,” Brad searched online for clips where people used his song in their birth videos, wedding videos, etc. which was very inspiring.
