Happy Tuesday, y’all!

We’re less than a month away from the 2016 American Music Awards, and everyone at Celeb Secrets Country is super stoked to see the fashion, performances, and most of all, the winners!

The AMAs are one of our favorite award shows for three reasons — its fan-voted, has the best performances, and last but not least, celebrates all music genres — including country.

To count down to the ceremony, Celeb Secrets Country is predicting the winners for the following country categories: Favorite Male/Female Artist — Country, Favorite Duo or Group — Country, Favorite Album — Country, and Favorite Song — Country.

The 2016 American Music Awards aka the world’s biggest fan-voted award show, will feature performances from Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and “The American Music Award of Merit” honoree Sting, and airs live from the Microsoft Theater on Sunday, November 20th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

FAVORITE MALE ARTIST – COUNTRY: Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: When it comes to favorite country male artist, Luke Bryan has a special place in my heart. You don’t have to listen to country music to listen to Luke Bryan, as his sound is versatile enough for anyone to have a liking to. The girls go wild for those killer dance moves –you know what we’re talking about ladies. Luke Bryan took the award last year and I’m positive he’ll be walking away with it again this year.

FAVORITE FEMALE ARTIST – COUNTRY: Kelsea Ballerini, Cam, Carrie Underwood

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini are up for the same category again this year, but we think Carrie Underwood is going to go home with this award again this year. Sorry Ballerini we love you’re song Peter Pan, but Carrie Underwood is going to dig her keys into the side of this award. She’s America’s sweetheart, if you listen to country or not everyone knows who Underwood is. And you can’t help but love her.

FAVORITE DUO or GROUP – COUNTRY: Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion, Zac Brown Band

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Roll your windows down for Florida Georgia Line because they’ll be taking this year’s favorite country duo or group once again! We love how they try to make their music versatile enough to add different sounds and music into their country sound. That’s what makes Florida Georgia Line so fun, you can definitely move and sing along to these songs wherever you go.

FAVORITE ALBUM – COUNTRY: Luke Bryan “Kill the Lights”, Chris Stapleton “Traveller”, Carrie Underwood “Storyteller”

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: This one is a tough one, but I think Luke Bryan will take this award home. His album is more versatile than the rest from slower to upbeat songs. He wrote six of the songs off the album, plus one A-list collaboration, which is rare for the artist. His single “Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day” sat on the Top 10 on the Billboard country chart. This album has been one of my favorites from Bryan and I’m sure his award will show how hard he worked on this album.

FAVORITE SONG – COUNTRY: Florida Georgia Line “H.O.L.Y.”, Tim McGraw “Humble And Kind”, Thomas Rhett “Die A Happy Man”

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Once again, I think Florida Georgia Line is going to win and take this award home as well. They relate to a younger and older crowd. While we love Tim McGraw, his songs are slower paced. The song “H.O.L.Y” has ranked up millions of listens on Spotify, more than Tim McGraw and Thomas Rhett. We don’t doubt this win for Brian and Tyler because this song is a powerful love song that you can still sing along to.
