“This whole process of ‘Stomp’ was so organic and raw and a testament to the fans for spreading the word,” he tells Celeb Secrets Country.

Ben Gallaher is back with another country banger with a unique backstory.

The budding singer/songwriter released his brand new track “Stomp” earlier today (September 15), which can be described as a boot-stomping, dance floor fueled anthem you won’t be able to stay seated for.

Born after a guitar lick Ben uploaded to Instagram for his Boot Stomp series that went completely viral earlier this year, the country crooner had over 175K new fans begging for the full tune that didn’t exist yet. Recruiting chart-topping songwriters Neil Thrasher, Patrick Thrasher and Wendell Mobley, the group penned the track which would eventually be titled “Stomp.”

“This whole process of ‘Stomp’ was so organic and raw and a testament to the fans for spreading the word. They were involved and engaged from the first note in its rawest form,” Gallaher tells Celeb Secrets Country exclusively.

And even though the song wasn’t written, the “Lovin’ You Gets in the Way” singer reveals that he was sitting on the riff for awhile, waiting for the right moment to share it with the world.

“I wrote the ‘Stomp’ guitar riff several years ago. You never know the timing of a song and how it will connect with people,” he shares.

The song’s signature riff and a wailing guitar solo showcase Gallaher’s notable prowess on the instrument as high-energy production brings in rock and roll elements that offer a striking contrast to the pure country heart and twang of “Stomp.” Gallaher opens the track by setting a back porch party scene before the tempo kicks up for an electric chorus and things get rowdy in the song and on the dance floor.

“Stomp” — which is conveniently out during National Dance Week (Sept. 11-16) — is the first track following Gallaher’s debut album Country in the House from February. Featuring 15 tracks that show off Gallaher’s powerful vocals, the full-length project contains Gallaher’s most recent radio single, “Lovin’ You Gets in the Way,” which was co-written by Jason Aldean, Neil Thrasher and Lee Miller.

Up next, Ben will be taking “Stomp” countrywide with multiple dance-related activations.
