If you’re looking for another reason to love Carly Pearce and her music, then look no further.
The country singer is currently on her The 29 Tour, which is inspired by her latest album 29: Written in Stone, an album in which Pearce wrote about her real experiences of love and heartbreak.
During her tour stop in Albany, N.Y. on Saturday night (March 19), Pearce saw two fans in the crowd with a special sign regarding her duet with Ashley McBryde called “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” (which won an ACM Award for Music Event of the Year.)
After the show, Pearce took to her social media to share the story with the world.
“Meet Tara & Ashley,” the singer tweeted. “During my show last night, I kept seeing a girl flashing a cardboard sign at me, but I couldn’t read it from the stage. I finally stopped the show & asked her what it said. “We’ve dated the same guy for 2 years. You saved us!” Wow. The power of music 🥲♥️”
Moved by the story, Pearce took the chance to talk with, thank and get a few pictures with the pair of friends.
