Dolly Parton Reveals That She Wants To Join Forces With Cardi B

“I know she’s a character, and I know she’s original,” the country singer shared.

Dolly Parton is living her “Best Life,” and she is ready for a new collaboration.

After being asked if there could be a collaboration between her and rap powerhouse Cardi B, Parton revealed during an interview with E! News’ Daily Pop that could see herself sharing the stage with her.

“Well I don’t know, but I know she’s a character, and I know she’s an original,” Parton said.

After thinking about the idea more, the “9 to 5” singer continued to say, “I might if she’s willing.”

“I would love to do something with her sometime, a TV show or a movie, with Cher. We’ll have Cardi B on that same show, let Cher host it, and me and Cardi B will be the entertainment,” Parton explained with excitement.

This comment isn’t the first time that the country legend has talked about her love for the “Up” rapper. Back in 2019 Parton, gave props to Cardi for her song “WAP.”

“How do you even become that? How do you even do that?!” Dolly said in awe of the rapper. “I felt the same way about Lady Gaga when she came on the scene. I think it’s great for you to know who you are. I just respect and appreciate people for what they do and having the balls to do it.”
