Ashley McBryde is canceling her upcoming concerts due to a scary accident, Celeb Secrets Country can confirm.
The “One Night Standards” signer shocked fans after posting on her Instagram Stories that she will not be able to take the stage in Portland on Sept. 25 and Seattle on Sept. 26 due to sustaining injuries from a horse-riding trip with friends.
All was well until they were heading back to the barn; something spooked the horse McBryde was riding, and she was unable to stay mounted on the horse due to her right foot slipping loose from the stirrup. With no way to balance and the horse going at such a fast pace, Ashley fell off of her horse.
The award-winning songstress was then taken to the ER. After getting a check-up, she assumed she hit her shoulder — but later found out that she had landed on her head and received a harsh concussion from the fall.
“You know me, I wouldn’t postpone a show for bumps and bruises. But at the moment, I am not able to walk without assistance.” McBryde said in her IG Stories.
As of now, there is no news on when each show will be rescheduled, or if any additional dates will be postponed. However, McBryde was quick to let fans know that as soon as she is able to walk across a stage again, that is where she will be.
Everyone is praying Ashley has speedy (and safe) recovery process.
