RaeLynn made some serious waves amongst the country music industry when she released her EP Baytown. But the Texas-born songstress isn’t quite done pouring her heart into this collection of songs, as she announced that she’ll be turning the EP into a full-length project this fall.
“The back half of Baytown is officially ready!” the singer gushes in a statement. “I believe these next six songs really capture my heart — as a lot of my life has changed over the past year — but I also have some songs to get rowdy to. I’m so excited for y’all to hear what I’ve been working on.”
Taking the news over to Instagram, the singer-songwriter posted in honor of the oh-so-special project.
“BAYTOWN (THE ALBUM) coming 9/24! Speaking from my heart is 100% what I’m going to do, and I really dove into that this back half of the record,” wrote RaeLynn. “I’m so excited for y’all to hear these songs as a complete project. Pre-save/pre-add #BAYTOWN now ❤️ Link in bio.”

And while we will have to wait patiently till Sept. 24 for the new version, RaeLynn released a new song from the coveted selection on Friday (August 13).
Titled “Only In A Small Town” pays total homage to things that simply.. only go down in a small town. The track not only sports a comical theme, but perfectly showcases the singer’s incredible talents. Check out the replay-worthy track below!
