Country music artist Lewis Brice and long time girlfriend Denelle Manzer are officially engaged!
Brice popped the question June 28, 2021 while on a fishing trip in Alaska, but the couple has kept a tight lip on the exciting news.

Fans can agree that details on the special moment were certainly worth the wait. In their PEOPLE exclusive, Brice shares how exactly he popped the question.
“I’ve had the ring for a minute, just waiting for the right time. Then I started thinking Alaska would be a cool place — a really memorable spot. So I booked a trip and a gig to Alaska. I knew Denelle had never been and would be excited to go,” said Brice. “It worked out well, I had a gig and a fishing trip planned at this awesome place I had been before, Lake Creek Lodge. I proposed on the second day of fishing, I don’t think she had a clue!”
And while some may have had their sights on scoring a fish or two at this location, Brice shared with PEOPLE that he had a different catch in mind.
“While standing together on a cool rock bed right beside a running river with beautiful Alaska as the backdrop I proposed, and she said yes!” he adds. “Biggest catch of my life I’d say.”
Manzer opened up to the outlet as well, sharing that saying “yes” was something she knew she wanted to do since the beginning of their love story.
“To be honest, I never really wanted to get married… until I met Lewis,” said Manzer. “I knew after about a year that he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”
The two, who met four years ago, have shared many adorable moments together, including Manzer’s feature in Brice’s music video for “It’s You.” Take a look below to see the couple in country music action.
Making those special lyrics a reality, the perfect pair have shown they are ready to take “It’s you” and make it “I do.”
