Happy New Music Friday, country fans 🤠
Leading names in Nashville gave us our daily dose of country music, and we already have their potential top-charting hits on reply. Celeb Secrets Country is entering the weekend swooning over Lady A’s recently released album What a Song Can Do (Chapter One) and Jimmie Allen’s star-studded record Bettie James Gold Edition.
Lady A has carefully crafted a seven-song collection of ballads representing who they are at their very core while also revealing the internal and external battles they have faced during the Coronavirus pandemic.
“With every track on this collection, we strived to share a little bit more of who we are and what we’ve taken from this year.” wrote members Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood on social media. “It’s where we are at this moment – all living in the now, together.”

While Lady A has left their heart and soul on the writing-table – rising country star, Jimmie Allen has been rubbing elbows with legends in the studio. If you listen to Bettie James Gold Edition front to back, you will hear familiar voices from Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, and even Rita Wilson.
In a recent interview with reporter Tiffany Goldstein, the breakthrough artist opened up about his inspiration behind the album name. “ ‘Bettie’ is my grandmother; she died in 2014, and my father who died in 2019. So, I named that album after my grandma and father.”
Im having my own festival in my Hometown. I named the Festival after my Father and Grandmother. Hoping their memory lives on through this festival.
It’s going down August 7th at Hudson Fields. 1st Annual “Bettie James Fest”. Tickets go on sale this Friday! 10am 🤙🏽 pic.twitter.com/6ASDzVjfpC
