IMDbTV just dropped the trailer for Luke Bryan‘s docuseries, My Dirt Road Diary, and fans of the current ACM Entertainer of the Year will be in for a treat with this five-part series!
The trailer gives fans a taste of what to expect from the new series, which includes an inside look at the singer’s lengthy career and his journey to becoming one of the biggest names in Country music. It ultimately gives audiences a backstage pass into Bryan’s life, through original home videos, interviews and personal footage.
In a release, the singer emphasizes that “the devotion and support of [his] fans are the reason [he has] made it this far in [his] career.”
“Life can be tough, and the past 15 months have been very difficult for everyone. I hope in sharing this raw look into my life that it may be an encouragement to others. Through the heartaches, triumphs can come,” he continues.
The project will includes interviews with his family members, friends and his wife Caroline Boyer. “He was just this big goofy ball of energy that I loved,” she says. “I had a mission and a path and she was at the end of it,” Bryan added of his wife. “Being gone for weeks at a time never got any easier. The pressure never let up.”
The docuseries will premiere on Friday, Aug. 6, exclusively on IMDbTV, Amazon’s premium free streaming service.
