Lady A’s Skyline Performance of “Like A Lady”
Co-ed country music group, Lady A delivered a playful performance of their recently released single “Like A Lady.” The trio gave country music fans a taste of their upcoming album with the sneak-peak retro track lead by Hillary Scott.
The group performed the women empowerment anthem from the Nashville waterfront, near Nissan Stadium. Lady A was a last-minute addition to the 2021 ACM Awards lineup after Luke Bryan tested positive for COVID-19. “We’re not afraid to just pivot at any moment,” says Scott in a Taste of Country interview. “What we do is a gift. It’s not a job. It’s a gift, and so we’re just grateful to do it and look forward to doing it again.”
“Like A Lady” is their first single since chart-topping hit “Champagne Night.” The talented group – Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood, and Charles Kelley were nominated for “Group of The Year.” However, Old Dominion received the title before their city skyline performance.
