Grab a drink and your cowboy hats because the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards are upon us!

If you’re having déjà vu and feel like the ACMs just happened, don’t worry. You’re not alone. Last year’s awards were postponed from April to September because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that just means we get a whole lot of country in a shorter amount of time.

Like last year, the show will be broadcast from three different locations and will feature a mix of live and pre-recorded performances. Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton will serve as hosts, with Guyton being the first black woman and second black host ever of the show.

With incredible performances every year, the ACMs are sure to give us the urge to get back to live music. But while we can’t do that yet, let’s countdown ten of the best ACM Awards moments of all time.

Don’t forget to let us know your favorite ACM Awards memory by leaving a comment below or by tweeting us at @CS_Country. Just a reminder – the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards will air LIVE on Sunday, 18 @ 8/7c on CBS and Paramount+.
