Is anyone else having déjà vu? Thomas Rhett once again took home the win for “Male Artist of the year.” If you remember correctly, the talented singer and songwriter earned the title back in 2017.

“This is absolutely unbelievable,” says Rhett while expecting the silver cowboy hat trophy. “I just want to say thank you so much for the ACMs, this is absolutely incredible.”

It wouldn’t be a true Thomas Rhett moment without a nod to his lovely family back home – wife, Lauren Akins, and his three daughters Willa, Ada, and Lennon. To go along with his moving speech, he performed a mashup of two songs from his upcoming album Country Again, Side A.

He started off slow with a stripped-down performance of his title track “Country Again.” After singing a verse and chorus, he got up out of his chair and ran to the stage to rock out to “What’s Your Country Song.” The mixture of the slow tempo and upbeat anthem is exactly why he scored the title of “Entertainer of The Year” at the 2020 ACMs with Carrie Underwood.

The release of Country Again, Side A is just around the corner, as it will drop on April 30.
