Carrie Underwood’s Powerful Gospel Medley
The goddess of country music, Carrie Underwood took us to church and back with her 2021 ACM Awards performance.
The country music icon delivered a phenomenal medley of gospel hymns off of her recent release record My Savior. To kick off her moving performance, Underwood sang a beautiful acapella rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
Wearing a stunning beige gown, that made her look like a true princess – the artist brought it up a notch with “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” Following her flawless transition, Underwood was joined on stage by CeCe Winans.
The two did not hold back and belted the hymn in unison. The dynamic duo also sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and completed the outstanding performance with a show-stopping version of “How Great Thou Art Are.”
To make this performance even more unforgettable, the queen of country music – Dolly Parton introduced Underwood to the stage.
