The happy couple took center stage at the iconic Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium to perform “Chasing After You.” Song of the year winner, Maren Morris left country fans in awe with her two-piece pearl/sequence ensemble and powerful vocals. The heaven-like set created an intimate atmosphere that made it feel like Maren and Ryan were simply just singing to each other.
The beautiful ballad was penned by Brinley Addington and Jerry Flowers. “Every time you say we’re done, you come back to the love you were running from,” the two sing to each other. “Don’t know why I let you but I do/ Guess I love chasing after you.”
While they are both established musicians, this performance marks their first-ever official duet together. After finishing the chilling track, the two shared a quick kiss under the spotlight.
