It’s New Music Friday party people, and Celeb Secrets Country is here to elevate your weekend pregame playlist. Musicians out of Music City have not been quiet this week, as the ACM Awards are just around the corner. As some A-listers pamper themselves to look red-carpet ready, several others felt the need to release new music in order to give country fans a taste of what the 2021 ACMs will be all about.
Therefore, as we wait patiently to see Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Dan + Shay, Brothers Osborne, and Miranda Lambert take center stage at the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards, the group of talented icons provided us with potential chart-topping hits to keep us busy until Sunday, April 18.
In fact, “Entertainer of The Year” nominee, Eric Church released an entire nine-piece collection from his three-part album Heart & Soul. Church kicked off his groundbreaking record with Heart, which includes his lead single “Stick That in Your Country Song” and “Russian Roulette.”

To pen and record the album, Church packed his bag and head straight to the mountains of North Carolina for a month-long retreat. His good friend and well-known producer, Jay Joyce went along to make some magic in the studio.
“It was really kind of freeing in a way,” Church told Taste of Country. “I mean I remember listening back to this whole project at the very end – I had forgotten these songs. Keep in mind, I only spent a few hours with ‘em. I write it, recorded it the next day. And it was so weird to listen back to it, almost as a fan which I don’t really get to do,” he adds.
The country star is set to drop the second part of the album, title &, on April 20 and the final group of ballads, entitled Soul on April 23.
As you include the introspective tracks by Church on your everyday playlist, don’t forget to add “Country Again,” by Thomas Rhett, the acoustic version of “Glad You Exist” by Dan + Shay, Brothers Osborne’s new hit “Younger Me,” “Anchor” penned and recorded by Miranda Lambert, Jac Ingram, and Jon Randall, Alan Jackson’s “You’ll Always Be My Baby,” Michell Tenpenny’s “Bucket List,” Mitch Rossell & Trisha Yearwood’s “Ran into You,” and, of course, Chris Stapleton’s new single with Caylee Hammack “Small Town Hypocrite.”
Other buzzworthy releases that we can’t stop listening to come from Honey County, Dani Taylor, Joey Hendricks, Anne Wilson, Liddy Clark, Jordana Bryant, Clayton Shay, Tucker Wetmore, Shawn Bilton, Nick Leidl, Bryan Lanning, and Stephanie Ryann.
