The nominees for the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards were announced on CBS This Morning earlier today (February 26) and the biggest names in the industry have earned a spot on the prestigious list.
Kelsea Ballerini and Brothers Osborne were up bright and early to share the finalists for some of the biggest categories at this year’s show, which included 68-time nominee Miranda Lambert, four black performers, and five women for “Single of The Year,” and more. You can view the complete list of nominees here.
As we see a slight positive shift in country music, stars have been taking to social media to speak out and celebrate the great news. From Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett to Lady A and Florida Georgia Line, we compiled a list of the best ACM Awards nomination reactions that will definitely go down as some of the most memorable of all time.
Don’t forget: The 56th Academy of Country Music Awards air LIVE from Downtown Nashville on Sunday, April 18th @ 8/7c on CBS.
