Renowned Christian artist, Chris Tomlin dropped his star-studded collaborative album, serving up his classic sound, marrying worship music with the modern genre-bending country sound that we hear today on Music Row.

With the help of Thomas Rhett, Lady A, Brett Young and many others, Tomlin was able to make his vision come to life in Chris Tomlin & Friends. Florida Georgia Line collaborated with Tomlin on several songs, and produced the album, along with chart-topping songwriter, Corey Crowder.

“This is more than just an album with featured artists, those types of albums have existed forever, this record is new and is all about coming together and working together. The way I look at it, music about faith, God, salvation and forgiveness doesn’t only have to come from any one genre,” Tomlin said in a press release.

Regardless of your musical background – this album blends and combines genres allowing fans of each to come together and enjoy.

“It was like a river that was just going,” Tomlin said. “Wherever the current was going, we were going. And it kept changing. It kept winding. What an incredible, creative thing to be able to do,” Tomlin told The Tennessean.
