Riley Green stopped by NBC’s TODAY Show on Monday (January 13) in New York City for a very special performance and interview.
The Country singer performed his latest single “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” and chatted with hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager about his rise in Country music as well as his personal connection to the songs he writes.
As he performed the powerful single in studio with just a mic and his guitar, Riley shared family photos with the audience that demonstrate the unbreakable bond he has with his grandfathers.
Riley is set to have a breakout year with “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” launching into Top 20 at Country radio and awards nominations abound including a recent iHeartRadio Music nod for Best New Country Artist and being named as part of the prestigious CRS 2020 New Faces Class.
