Kalie Shorr is starting 2019 out with a BANG!
Last week, Shorr released not one version, but TWO versions of her new single Awake, one for country radio, and a version featuring Jonny Brenns from American Idol, on the pop version. Whether you enjoy the twang of country music, or the solid electronic beats of pop music, there is no denying Shorr’s angelic voice and relatable lyrics.
The traction surrounding this unique dual release has been exceptional. In a first for both Radio Disney and Radio Disney Country, the stations supported the releases by premiering both versions of the track simultaneously on their respectively.
