Amazon Music is headed to Country Radio Seminar this year with the inaugural Amazon Music & CRS Monday Night Showcase featuring the Radio Ink Best Country PD Awards this February.

The special concert will feature performances by acclaimed artists Jason Aldean (Broken Bow), Jordan Davis (UMG) and Jimmie Allen (Broken Bow). In addition to the opening night event, throughout the three days of Country Radio Seminar conference attendees will also have the unique opportunity to walk inside a 10’ tall Amazon Echo replica to experience Amazon Music’s natural voice commands when paired with Alexa, firsthand.

“Country music has consistently been one of the most-streamed genres on Amazon Music, and we’re happy to work with such a respected convention as Country Radio Seminar to celebrate the country music community,” stated Ryan Redington, Director of Amazon Music. “We’re thrilled to kick off this year’s CRS with an incredible night of live performances while honoring some of the leaders in country radio programming.”

At part of Monday’s concert event and in between artist’s sets, Radio Ink will honor the Top 30 Program Directors in the Country format. This year marks the 20th year that the publication has honored the Best Program Directors in Country music.

Radio Ink Publisher Deborah Parenti commented, saying “Over the past two decades, Radio Ink has recognized excellence in country radio programming. We are proud to spotlight the dedicated program directors who elevate the status of radio, not only among country listeners but by contributing so much to the industry and their communities overall.”

The Amazon Music & CRS Monday Night Showcase featuring the Radio Ink Best Country PD Awards will take place Monday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Omni Broadway Ballroom.
